Development of High Compression Moulding Paper to Make up for General Product Defects

Japan's Oji Paper Co., Ltd. has successfully developed a high-compression rate molding paper for making food containers, and plans to produce 2,000 tons per year after two years.

This high-compression profile paper is made from specially selected wood raw materials and is made from wood pulp with a unique pharmaceutical formulation. It is understood that, compared with general food container paper, the new high compression rate forming paper can be stretched and processed even after being heated and subjected to stress, and the liquid is not easily leaked from the crease after being processed into a container.

In addition, containers made with high compression rate forming paper can be used as paper products for combustion treatment, which will not cause environmental pollution and greatly save processing costs. It is an ideal substitute for plastic container packaging.
