Disperse dye printing process notes

(1) Disperse dyes should be used with less than 40°C water when dissolving and dissolving. Due to disperse dyes, a large amount of dispersant has been added during the process of disperse dyes. For example, disperse dyes are destroyed and disperse dyes agglomerate. Dissolution is more difficult. Such as the filter is not easy to produce color points.

(2) The disperse dyes are easily discolored in the presence of metal ions. Therefore, iron paste should not be used to prepare the color paste, and hexametaphosphate water softener should be added.

(3) Disperse dyes are relatively stable in weak acidity. Alkaline fluids can easily cause disperse dyes to hydrolyze and affect shade. The general pH is controlled within the range of 5 to 5.5. If the pH is lower than 8 or higher than 10, the dye uptake to the polyester will be reduced, resulting in staining on the cotton fibers. Lactic acid or tartaric acid can be added to the paste to adjust the pH.

(4) The original paste should use neutral and weak acidity stable sodium alginate paste. In order to increase the squeegee effect of the color paste, the emulsification paste may be added at the same time, but it should not be too much, otherwise it will affect the outline of the pattern.

(5) No urea was added except pure polyester fabric printing. Otherwise increase the stain on the cotton fiber. Due to high temperature treatment, urea melts, volatilizes, and decomposes at 130°C, and forms a low eutectic with disperse dyes, which makes it difficult to wash out stains.
