Waste beverage bottle can produce polyester polyol

Lanzhou Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has introduced a new technology for the production of polyester polyols. This technology can be used to dispose of mineral water bottles, beverage bottles, edible oil barrels in industrial and daily life, wastes from polyester plants, scraps of polyester products, wastes, etc., under the action of organic alcohol chemicals and catalysts. Processed to make polyester polyols, used to produce polyurethane foams and intermediates for synthetic materials such as plastics, rubbers, coatings, and adhesives.
