Sponsored by the National Standardization Administration Committee (SAC), the 12th annual meeting of the ISO/TC136 International Standardization Organization Furniture Standardization Technical Committee, hosted by the Shanghai Institute of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Technology (SQI), was held in Shanghai on May 20. The Shanghai Quality Inspection Institute, as the secretariat of the National Furniture Quality Inspection Center Technical Alliance Secretariat, organized the National Furniture and Indoor Environmental Quality Inspection Center and the National Engineering Composite Materials Quality Inspection. Experts from the Center, National Office Supplies Equipment Quality Inspection Center (Changzhou), National Furniture Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Guangdong), National Furniture Quality Inspection Center (Finance) and other international experts conducted in-depth academic exchanges. This is China's first successful acquisition of the ISO/TC136 standard revision and has become an important milestone in the Chinese furniture standard.
