1. The fire protection spraying protection of steel structure should be constructed by a professional construction team that has passed the training and has the corresponding construction qualification. 2. The surface cleaning of the base material of the fire-retardant coating should be strictly checked as a process. The bottom coating and surface coating in the fireproof coating shall be matched accordingly, and the bottom coating shall not corrode the steel.

3. The thickness of the coating should reach the design value, and the nodes should be thickened. Spraying site requirements, component surface treatment, seam filling, paint preparation, spraying passes, quality control and acceptance, etc., shall comply with the provisions of the current national standard "Technical Specification for the Application of Fireproof Coatings for Steel Structures" (CECS24). The thickness of the coating should be checked during construction (measured with a thickness gauge). If the cracks of the coating are common and the width is large, it should be studied and analyzed whether the process is correct and the mix ratio of the coating is reasonable.

4. The spraying of fire retardant coatings should be controlled by the consistency of the coatings, the pressure of the air compressor and the distance between the spray nozzle and the components during spraying. During the construction, the main observation is that the large amount of splashes indicates that the construction parameters are unreasonable and should be adjusted. Do not add too much thinner in the paint, otherwise it will reduce the normal application viscosity of the paint, and the paint cannot be attached to the surface of the steel structure.

5. In the coating construction process, the coating must be dried and cured in the previous pass, and then applied again. The coating protection method, the number of construction passes and the thickness of the protective layer should be determined according to the construction design requirements. The coating thickness of each pass should be moderate, and should not be too thick or not evenly coated, so as not to affect the quality of the coating. Strictly follow the painting process, and avoid leaving safety hazards to the building in order to grab the construction period.

6. The thickness of the coating cannot be measured only after the project is completed. The color of the coating and the omission and cracks of the coating should also be visually inspected.
